What to do and see





Vila do Corvo: The only village on the island with streets, paved with pebbles. In the center of the village the houses have black stone facades, with white edging on the windows and doors. In some houses you can see looms that are still in use, the memory of an almost lost tradition of wool making, on the other hand the contrast of modern houses and green spaces, with concrete roads.

Caldeirão: Crater of the old volcano that originated the island. It is 300 meters deep and has a perimeter of 2400 meters. Where to eat



On an island with about 400 inhabitants, the supply of restaurants is naturally scarce.
